Happy Christmas 2024

Well here we are at the end of the year and it’s December once again.  I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone, but then I say that every year! Let’s look at which items of clothing are really popular for the festive season right now.

Sparkles

Sparkles and sequins are everywhere and, if they are burgundy sparkles, so much the better.  Silver, gold, bronze, black and green sparkly items are also around in the shops this season.

Velvet

Velvet is in the shops also and is a fashion that doesn’t really date – everyone loves velvet in winter.

Christmas Jumpers

Will they ever go out of fashion? Most likely not. Some are really tacky but some can look good if they are fairly understated and can be worn the whole season of winter and not just at Christmas such as the second photo below.

Leopard Print

Leopard print is another print that it seems will never go out of fashion. It has become a classic to many people and it is particularly on trend this season.

Trouser Suits

Trouser Suits (or Co-ords) especially velvet ones in burgundy or another colour are popular at the moment. The jacket and trousers can be worn separately or together, making them good value for money.

What will you be wearing this season? Will you be purchasing something new or do you already have some of these items in your wardrobe?
